If 98.6 is the correct number that means here in Canada Shell's Optimax is not even close to what you have in UK. Optimax in Canada is 91 PON (around  95 RON).
However, the price is twice cheaper from what you mentioned.
The only fuel here that comes close to your numbers is Sunoco's 98 RON fuel. Strangely enough I barely feel difference between Shell and Sunoco.
In regards of the sport in Canada, we are far behind Europe in any aspect except one. The roads  Wink I just hope we get an event from WRC, so you people in Europe realize what you are missing.
