Group 2 and Gp 5 (Read 4528 times)

RedRocket YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 10	Group 2 and Gp 5 11/21/11 at 17:20:05 Can someone tell me the basic difference between a Gp 2 and a Gp 5 car? Reason I ask is 1 of the new Fiesta R2's is listed as Gp 5 while the other 3 are Gp 2.

RyanHuber God Member Offline Posts: 709 Ontario	Re: Group 2 and Gp 5 Reply #1 - 11/21/11 at 17:25:27 Basically it boils down to naturally aspirated vs turbo/supercharged, but Group 2 also has a displacement limit that if you exceed it pushes you into G5 (so a V8 naturally aspirated would be a G5 car for example).
