Still 60, now that Cars 9 (Schmidtke/Hall) and 14 (O'Neil/Headland) have withdrawn. A full house! I would've loved to see Tim O'Neil at the Pines, though. I'm especially sorry the team won't be coming.

Thanks for the info and I was just kidding!

Except that we have to be realist and make plan for some delay, with 60 cars it is hard to not have any delay! Those sweep guys will be busy!

I am in Bancroft now. It's about -5 and there are signs of some fresh snow, but not enough to survive the warm weather coming. Forecast is now calling for showers on Sat. but only a little rain.

Time to get some sleep. Really excited about the full field!

Edit: I guess we are down to 59. Looks like the Pug 205 isn't going to make it!

Never a good sign to get a phone message from your driver the night before you are to leave that just says - "call me back".

Still, it is much more polite than the time I flew to Washington to have the motel clerk hand me a note - "we are not going to make it, no brakes" (couldn't they have told me before I got on the plane............

Looks like I'll be working in the woods somewhere.

The good news - I do get a Thanksgiving meal with my son!
