Rally Is an Adventure
09/28/15 at 19:39:39

So after getting a ride in the silly seat of Anthony's Scirocco at Galway, the fever has hit. I'm not quite sure what direction it will be in the short or long-term.

I helped out at the MLRC Rally-X on Sunday and then headed for T.O. at about 4 pm (thanks for the pizza James!) Along the way a few adventures - Note - If you are driving a VW bus or one of two trucks a truck pulling a trailer along Hwy 7 - try a little harder to not be a rolling roadblock the next time!! Thanks to this and the fact that the 401 was backed up from the 35/115 interchange all the way to Mississauga, it was 7:40 pm by the time I made it to Mississauga Rd. to meet the guy that was buying my bugeye WRX hood.

Then the adventure really began:

  • Hit the money exchange in Pearson Airport (Bloodsuckers!!!)

    Grab something to drink

    Head for the Niagara area

    Make for the meeting location.

    Seller tied-up at Hockey  Sad

    Finally meet at 11:45 pm.

Drive back to T.O. Get to Hotel at 1:45 am!

It did result in this! The widest commercially available FIA rated seat (other than Racetech's - you can buy a car for what you pay for a Racetech)

OMP TRS - XL!

I have also acquired a HANS.

Next up - HANS posts and intercom gear for helmet. After that ???
