My New Rally Car
01/06/13 at 20:15:16
Hello All,
Some here may remember me, I used to run a neon green VW Scirocco more than 10 years ago. Glad to see rallying is looking heathly in NA, rallying is strong here in NZ.
I now live in NZ and after two years here doing tarmac hill climbs and bent sprints in an uncaged Honda I have finally bought myself a caged tarmac rally car. It's a 1994 Peugeot 106 ClubSport, basically a tarmac version of a 106 Rallye. 1300cc 8v 100hp@7000rpm 1800 lbs. It's done Targa NZ 3 times and will hopefully do it again one day
It's faster than I expected. Needs a bit of work, first event should in March I hope.
Cheers,
James

Send it back! It has a defect. The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Cage does not extend to the base of the windshield, and only one doorbar? Rules over there must be very lax...

Right now, someone somewhere is practicing, and when you face him, he will beat you.

I was running with no cage and doing more than 170km/hr on a closed public road.
I'd say this is much safer.
