Subject: CARS Competitor’s Representative

Due to a significant increase in his business commitments, Bruno Carre has resigned as the Competitors’ Representative to the CARS Board of Directors.  

The Competitor’s Representative provides the Board of Directors with valuable input from competitors and also offers competitors the opportunity to communicate with the Board about rally related issues and activities.  

To begin the process of finding a replacement the Board would like to hear from competitors interested in taking on the position. The commitment would require participation in monthly board conference calls, communicating regularly with competitors, as well as attending the CARS AGM in January.

Please take the time to consider taking on this role. While all the board members are current or past competitors, there is a need for a separate voice for competitors at Board meetings as well as a central point for competitors to raise their concerns.

As a competitor and a member of the extended board Keith Morison has volunteered to manage the transition and the voting process for the selection of the new representative. The deadline for expressions of interest will be December 31 with the voting taking place in the first week of January.
