I'll have to check my in-car from last year, and compare to this year.

But my gut says:

Northbound 2012 (stages 1,3,5,7) were the same distance as 2011

Southbound 2012 (stages 2,4,6) were atleast a couple hundred meters shorter than 2011

None the less... 6:54 was fast! we were aiming for a "50" on SS4...but that didn't happen Angry

I'm not sure if the road has gotten faster vs when Leo set that time or not, but I suspect a bit of it is the rest of us are upping our games a bit. Great stuff!

According to Results distance is 10.66kms both directions. However that could be an error and I don't have a Routebook to check against

Certainly some impressive driving by all. I felt that road to start the day was in better condition than past years

Reply #20 - 05/08/12 at 21:28:10 I looked up Sandro Munari's time in the Lancia Stratos from the 74 Rideau Lakes. 7:22.2 and the stage was 8.45 km. As far as I remember it was at night and there were no pace notes. This was the first stage that I ever spectated.
