Hans Sport vs Hans Pro

I managed to borrow a Hans for tall pines but I would like to buy my own for Maniwaki.  Just wondering what people think of the sport vs the pro.  Is it worth spending the extra $$$ on the pro or is the weight difference negligible?  Also any thoughts on the sliding tethers and a good place to actually buy one?

I got my sport from CSC in Newmarket. Honestly, once the belts are tight I can't imagine you could tell the difference. Maybe if you walk around a lot with it on you might notice but I doubt it.

I suspect the only time you will notice the weight difference is carrying it through the airport. It sits on your shoulders, and we are only talking about 1 pound versus about 2 pounds.

Now, if you are in a WRC car............

Like Ryan CSC in Newmarket... I have the sport as well with sliding tethers... with the belts pushing down on you I am not sure you will notice any difference in the two...  I am not sure you can get any new ones with fixed tethers...

The bling factor of carbon fiber on the pro model is worth at least 1 second per KM Cheesy

I see that there's a Hans device for sale in the Buy and Sell section by Ivan Malo.  Did you check that out?
