I did a software update from Garwin's website last week and noticed that my gps is working much better. The battery is lasting about 50% longer and it's picking up satellites within seconds even inside. Something to check out if you own one.

Which model?

I have this fantasy of hackers getting into the Garmin data base and screwing around, and the next day there's millions of people lost, getting into accidents, etc.
