Fun gravel roads in Ontario (Read 3855 times)

fweidner YaBB Newbies Offline I love YaBB 1G - SP1! Posts: 26	Fun gravel roads in Ontario 04/27/6 at 19:07:01 Anybody recommend any gravel roads near Minden or Hunstville, Barrie, Orillia etc. that are safe, legal but fun to drive on? Other areas 1-2 hrs from Toronto?

My suggestion (and how I've found a bunch of my fun roads).... pull up google maps, look for interesting roads, figure out how to get there, and then go for a drive.

The last time I put together a cruise in the barrie/muskoka area, I spent a lot of time out driving and mapping the route. Drove a lot of fun roads that I'd never take a pack of cars down (cottage roads... one lane wide).

Just to go out and drive down a "fun" ( saying fun means you will be driving quicker than normal ) road can do more harm to the sport if you ever had an incident with a local.
