Bancroft Accomodations
02/17/5 at 10:20:25
I'm trying to find those useful links/documents from TallPines listing friendly motels & places to stay around Bancroft, to no avail. Any suggestions on where to crash for a few hours on Sunday, that's decently clean & comfy etc?
Thanks!

The OWR supp regs have a few places that are rally-friendly.

Bah... we did Lanark & Safari without sleep, but OWR sounds like it might be a bit on the strenuous side, so having a backup place to crash sounds good. Preparation is the mother of success... or something cheesy like that
Besides, it's my first season... it's only right to get progresivelly more panick... I mean, apprehensive in the days leading up to it :->

I would never encourage anybody to drive home after a rally without taking at least a power nap. Your body needs a break. Unless you are a shift worker accustomed to these types of reversed waking hours schedules, you will not make good decisions driving on the road after an overnighter. I know you were trying to be humourous (I like that!!), but it's bad advice and really for newbies to hear this sort of encouragement. I've only scared the living crap out of myself a few times driving home from rallies, and now I just don't mess with it. It is incredible what a 30 minute nap in a cold car seat will do for the drive home.

It was only an hour drive back to norwood for me, then I slept all day until 5pm.
Of course..... a week later, and my body still hasn't recovered.... probably cause i'm going to bed late and not letting it.
