Tall Pines - Workers Needed!

An important message from the Rally of the Tall Pines - Clerk of the Course, Ross Wood:
------

Hi Folks,

It's time to start thinking about firming up your plans to come and help at the 2002 Tall Pines. Rally weekend is November 22-24.

2002 is a particularly exciting year for the Pines under the very capable leadership of the new Coordinator, Keith Townsend. Keith and some new members he has recruited to the committee have added many new high profile features to the event.

On the route side of things we are very excited at having successfully negotiated permission with no less than three township councils to use Old Hastings Road as a stage. This is a phenomenal public road that has been a favourite in the Ontario Winter Rally for years. Of course all the old faithfuls such as Egan Creek and Eels Lake will still be there.

All of these added features require more workers than ever. We need lots of HAM radio operators, timing control marshals, traffic control marshals and crowd control marshals. To facilitate your registration as a worker, an on-line registration form has been created. Just go to the Workers section of this website and fill in the form.

There will be many perks for workers, including assistance with very reasonably priced accommodation.

So please take a couple of minutes to visit the website now and fill in the form.

Ross Wood, Clerk of the Course
