Title: Tall Pines Calendar Contest
Post by BTDT on 09/17/10 at 09:50:23

This year is the 40th Edition of the Rally of the Tall Pines.  To honour this occasion, we are going to be putting together a 2011 Tall Pines Calendar.  It's going to be a little competition which we hope you will get involved in.  We're hoping to get a nice mix of Tall Pines pictures, past and present and you can submit as many pics as you like for the contest.  We have a team of expert judges set up that will be looking these over and selecting 12 pictures plus the best one for the cover of the calendar (this person will get a special prize).  Photos must be in a jpeg format with a resolution of 300dpi or higher.  Deadline for submission is Friday, October 15th so get looking through your collection now.  All submissions will receive a confirmation email that they were received.  Please send them to: marketing@tallpinesrally.com
Thanks
Donna

Just a quick reminder, in case you've been procrastining in sending in your pics for the Tall Pines Calendar Contest, the deadline for receipt is looming (Friday, October 15th) so with the long weekend ahead, why not spend a few minutes and scour your photos for something to send along to us.  Pictures should be sent to: marketing@tallpinesrally.com

Unfortunately we did not get enough pictures submitted with high enough resolution for printing purposes for the calendar.  They look great for a few seconds when you see them on the Tall Pines website but when you take them to the printing process, one that is even a tiny bit out of focus is magnified 100 times when printed.  I would like to personally thank everyone that took the time to submit a picture but we won't be going ahead to production.  I do think it was nice to have them up on the TP website for people to look at.  Thanks again!
