Hello Rally Enthusiasts,
The 2015 edition of the Black Rally is two months away. This year Black Bear will be held on Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th. Rally headquarters will again be at the community centre in Gilmour.
For this year will again be having Registration and Recce on Saturday and the rally stages will be raced on Sunday. Saturday we will also be running our first Rallysprint event on Qwirk Road . We will need some volunteers on Saturday to help with the rallysprint, recce and registration plus more workers on Sunday to run the stages. A barbecue for volunteers and competitors will be held on Saturday night and camping space is available at the community centre. If camping out is not your style there is plenty of accommodation available in the area.
We are currently assigning roles and hope to fill positions, as quickly as possible with people such as yourself. Black Bear is a multi road rally, in order to successfully run the event again, we need:
•        amateur radio operators,
•         timing marshals,
•         traffic control marshals and
•         crowd control marshals
•         we also need some help on Saturday the 11th  to help with taping, signage, arrowing and recce.
This rally has been very lucky in attracting dedicated volunteers, without whom the Black Bear Rally could never have been a success year after year. We couldn't do it without you!
